From a marvellous trip to the Féstival au Désert of Timbuktu in Mali was born the idea of an Italian Féstival au Désert. The first Festival au Désert Firenze took place in 2010 in collaboration with the original Malian festival and Fondazione Fabbrica Europa. The event hosted and hosts the great names of the world music from Mali, North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, in open dialogue with the ambassadors of international artistic “nomadism”. I created the firs flash site for the event and all the following versions till 2018. Besides this, I took care of many aspects of the graphic project during the years: photographic reportages, posters, promotional materials, presentations and so much more… here a selection of the things I did.
